However, despite such delays and promises made on delivering an optimized game for Consoles and PCs, Cyberpunk 2077 has broken the heart of the gamers since the release marked a broken game with immense bugs and glitches hampering the overall gaming experience even with stutters and fps loss.

Tough hardware specifications even lags with provide an optimized performance for the game. As the issues are disastrously containing the gameplay experience, players are reporting that even the save game files, exceeding 8MB size, are getting corrupted. Addressing such major glitches, developers are repeatedly pushing in patches to Hotfix the game with latest release of Patch 1.05.



As an effect to such broken promises and unoptimized game launch, gamers are furious on CD Projekt Red as they continue to ask for returns. Microsoft has extended their refund policy for the game for anyone who has purchased it, thereby honouring every digital copies sold. Sony on the contrary has pulled down Cyberpunk 2077 from their digital stores as players would not be allowed to purchase a copy, "until further notice".



However, Microsoft continues to provide the digital copies of the game for purchase with a warning notice,


Users may experience performance issues when playing this game on Xbox One consoles until this game is updated.

Even with increased media coverage and surprising featuring of Keanu Reaves in the game, CD Projekt Red failed to maintain focus. The stock prices of the company continues to tumble as uncertainties hover in the industry as to whether it would be able to patch the game to a playable stage or not. They are now trying to rebuild the trust of their fans on further promising to deliver an optimized performance along with additional contents without any specific declared time bound.



At an even more alarming rate, the game has negatively affected the stock with $1.8 Billion in less than a week. For evidently rushed on releasing the game without paying attention to every details, The New York Times report stated that a Warsaw Attorney and CDPR investor has their firm's analysis on the lawsuit filed against due to the "misrepresentation in order to obtain financial benefits".
